A continuum, not a single door
Intensive Outpatient Program, longer-term Outpatient Program, referrals to inpatient when needed, and a partnership for sober living and practical life support.
Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP)
Several days each week. Morning or evening. Group work, individual counseling, and skills that hold when the week gets loud.

Fewer hours, same relationships. Designed to last up to a year or longer as people rebuild work, family, and routine.

Inpatient referrals
We do not pretend IOP is enough for everyone. When residential or inpatient care is the right next (or first) step, we refer to quality programs.
Sober living & practical support
Recovery stalls when there is no safe bed and no way to get an ID. We partner with Riceland Sober Living Residences so clients can access:
• Quality sober living housing
• Workforce placement assistance
• Help obtaining IDs, Social Security cards, and SNAP
• Homes on the Lafayette city bus route
Ask at intake if housing is part of what you need. We will tell you what is available and what is required.
Who we serve
Adults 18 and older, men and women, living with substance use disorders. Many of our clients are stepping down from residential or inpatient care. Others come directly into IOP because their life can still hold a job and a home—if they have enough structure around the week.
We work with most major insurance plans. Call and we will help verify benefits before you commit to a start date.

judicial referrals
Riceland Recovery partners with multiple judicial and law enforcement agencies across Louisiana, including judicial districts, probation and parole offices, drug courts, specialty courts, diversion programs, and Children and Family Services. We focus on supporting clients mandated to complete a court-ordered treatment program. Please contact us for detailed information.
